What's the story?
Every year, Universal Music UK hosts an event exclusively for it's London office employees. The event is very secretive, nobody even knows who is performing until they get there.
What are we trying to solve?
In the past, the branding for this event was bland, not matching up with the exciting idea of a completely secret event. Everything down to the name, UMusic Autumn, felt like an afterthought.
What's the goal?
We wanted to inject some energy into this event by making the branding just as creative and unique as UMG's employees. There has to be a balance in the branding, creating some excitement around the event while still remaining secretive about the details. Enter, London Calling!.
