Introduction
In the beginning, this project was one of my senior thesis papers at FIT. The paper broadly was about the implications of AI in music production and streaming. This inspired me to create AI tools directly within a major streamer that acted ethically and productively.
What's the problem?
The music streaming landscape is dominated by platforms prioritizing catalog size and exclusive content. While vast libraries offer choice, these services often neglect audio quality and innovative features. This creates a gap in the market for a more immersive and personalized listening experience.
Users crave a deeper connection with their music, beyond simple playback. They desire features that transform their listening habits and elevate their audio enjoyment. Existing platforms fall short in delivering this level of engagement and innovation.
Why Tidal?
I identified a few key features of Tidal that made it a clear fit for this idea. The first being that Tidal offers access to hi-def audio quality as well as a deeper connection with artists. These factors mean that the resulting audio will retain it's depth and texture, as well as bridging a greater bond between listener and artist.
Additionally, Tidal offers a wider array of artist tools than it's mainstream competitors. This would help in a future effort to make AI tools more readily accessible to participating artists.
